We retain details necessary for successful fulfilment of your order and may use them for marketing purposes for example emailing or posting you information about seasonal offers. We will never cold call you for marketing purposes. Credit card numbers are not retained after payment has been received.

These details are used for a number of purposes including administering the site, analysing trends and gathering statistics.  This is to help us better understand customer patterns and to help us serve our customer needs on this website in the future.  Examples of this non personal data include browser details, demographic data and statistics.  Data will be collected by monitoring Internet Protocol (IP) Addresses.  This gives us details about your Internet Service Provider, and not you as an individual.  As with many online businesses, we may also use an external statistics provider to analyse trends on this website (such as Google Analytics).

You will be given the option to subscribe to our mailing list where we may contact you for marketing purposes.  We will never pass these details on to any external third party, unless we have specific permission from you to do so. You may op-in or opt-out of our mailing list at any time.

Once you place your order, we will review it and put it through for processing. If we anticipate any issues, we will get in touch with you to ask further questions. Otherwise we will deliver as soon as possible.

Your payment is taken as you place your order so you will always be charged at the rate advertised at the point of ordering.

Products may be removed from sale from this website at any stage without prior notification.  We also reserve the right to change prices of products without prior notification.  All prices on this website are in Euro, and that is what will be debited from your debit / credit card.  If you are purchasing using a non-Euro credit card, the relevant exchange rate is applied by your bank.

We take great pride in the quality and condition of our products and it should reach you in the best possible condition. When you receive your products, please open it right away, inspect them. If you aren’t happy with what you find, please call us right away on 087 461 1615 and we will remedy the situation.

If the order has been damaged during delivery, please let us know as soon as possible. No claim for damage or deterioration after delivery can be accepted unless we’re informed straight away. Nor can we accept any responsibility for quality deterioration due to incorrect addresses, unopened parcels, and delivery delays beyond our control.

Chef Davitt Ltd retains all rights of ownership and possession of the goods until full payment has been received.

All orders placed online under €100 are subject to a delivery charge to anywhere on the Island of Ireland.

We use an An post for delivery in Ireland.

Orders are dispatched the next working day after the order is placed; however, we do not dispatch orders on the weekend; therefore, orders placed on the weekend will be shipped on Mondays.

Please ensure that the delivery address you give is one where there is someone to accept day-time deliveries.

You will receive an email letting you know that the delivery is on the way and you.

In the event of extreme weather or other events out of our control, we cannot be responsible for any delivery delays.

We accept payment online by credit card. Your payment is processed via a fully authorised Payment Service which ensures that all your information remains totally confidential. 

Payment is taken as you place your order and if the payment does not authorise successfully, your order will not be successfully processed. Please check that you receive not only a confirmation of your order but also a confirmation of your payment by email. If you have not received one of these, your order may not be placed successfully.

In the event that you need to cancel the order, please notify us by email, info@chefdavit.com and we will do our best to assist you, although we reserve the right not to accept or to cancel any order once accepted, without penalty.
